Christmas Ornament

I'm not gonna lie: this is my favorite Christmas ornament I have purchased all season. Have I ever talked about the absurd number of Christmas ornaments I have? No? OK, that's for the better. I have entirely too many and I love each and every one passionately. I think I have like 800. There. I said it.

I found this happy fellow at World Market. It took everything I had not to buy six more :).

From where I sit...

The view from where I sit tonight. Nine feet of Christmas sparkles in our living room, raining outside and "The Hobbit" on TV. Well played, Saturday. Well played.

Christmas in the Vineyards...

As you know, I love where I live.  We are close to Napa Valley, surrounded by lovely hills and lush vineyards.  In addition to our beautiful surroundings, we are still about 25 minutes to Berkeley, 40 minutes to San Francisco (if traffic is on our side).

This year an adorable family from Oregon decided to set up a Christmas tree farm in one of the vineyard spaces down the street from where we live.  I am not sure there is a more beautiful location for a Christmas tree farm than in a vineyard.  Seriously.  It's dreamy. Noble Firs are gorgeous.
